Happy Fourth of July! We had such a fun day celebrating. I started out the morn by running the Bethany, OK fun run. It was so freaking hot, but so much fun. Then we had our traditional red, white & blue breakfast (crepes with strawberries, blueberries, and cream cheese topping).
We went to the Bethany parade where the boys loved watching all the firetrucks and super cool cars. They especially enjoyed fighting for candy that was thrown.
The road was blocked off right where we were sitting, so Jack gathered up all the cones and used one as a trusty hat.

After the parade we walked down to the park and got ourselves a delish funnel cake and huge corn dog.
The kids were pretty wiped out from the parade, so after a glorious nap we went to a BBQ with some friends. It was so much fun to hang out and chat. The kids swam in the pool and got all cooled off. We did get rained out, and had to move the BBQ inside, but it made it even more exciting. It cleared up later so we were able to go watch some great fireworks. I don't think our kids have sat that still - EVER! They loved the fireworks and the big kaboom sound they made.

So fun...love the 4th of July! Looks like you guys have been doing well. The pictures are darling. I love the pics from the Dental Prom too. You look absolutely beautiful. Miss you guys!
